This workshop will allow students to discover computer science concepts and skills by creating personally relevant, tangible, and shareable projects. Throughout the unit, students will learn about programming for the physical world by blending hardware design and software development. They will design and develop their own apps and plan and develop code for micro-controllers that bring their physical designs to life.

Drama: William Felt, wfelt@sra.mn

The SRA Middle School Drama workshops are geared towards a more advanced theater experience than the elementary workshops. Students will take part in planning and rehearsing a short play, monologue, or 2-person scene for each session. Students will also have the opportunity to build social/emotional and speaking and listening skills through physical and vocal focus-oriented games.
