Crochet is a yarn art that’s not only fun and easy, but is also considered therapeutic because it’s relaxing! Students gain a sense of accomplishment as they create many projects with hooks and yarn.
For the Beginners: Offered to age 8 and up.
In the first class, you receive your beginning items and will learn about the materials used in the art of crochet, including types of yarn and threads and what they are best suited for. You will also learn about the first two stitches: the chain and the single crochet, and how these stitches are applied and used in various works. You’ll begin your first project.
